The beauty of the Principles of War series of rules is that the same game mechanisms are used throughout all the sets. This means that you, the gamer, can focus on those aspects of the game that model the practices of warfare during the period and not have to learn a whole new rule system.
The different period rules make small subtle changes in melee, morale and firing factors that have great influence. But command and control, firing, morale, melee and movement always follow the same game format. So why not try a new period ?
Periods covered include the Renaissance, 18th Century, French and American Revolutionary Wars, Napoleonic, 19th Century Wars, Colonial and early 20th Century Wars.
